What is the Scandia Navigator? 

The Skandia Navigator is a collection of intangibles measurements methods, pioneered by Leif Edvinsson, that provide a holistic understanding of the organization and its value creation along 5 focus areas.

What are Focus Areas?

The 5 focus areas are as follows:

  • Financial focus - The financial outcome of our activities - such as profitability or growth or other stakeholder demands.
  • Customer focus -  How well the organization meets the defined needs of its customers via services and products. 
  • Process focus - The processes of creating the services and the products which our customers desire with a focus on efficiency in internal processes. 
  • Renewal and development focus - Reassuring the organizations long-term renewal and in part its sustainability such that the company can attain and develop the knowledge that is needed to perceive and satisfy our customers needs.
  • Human focus - Focus the employee satisfaction and knowledge creation.
